How Wrenches handles customer information

This policy explains what the Wrenches website collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you. Last updated August 20, 2026.

Information you provide

When you contact Wrenches by phone, email, or the website chat widget, you may provide your name, phone number, email address, preferred timing, vehicle information, requested service, location for towing, and a description of your concern. Please do not send sensitive financial, medical, or identity information.

How Wrenches uses information

Wrenches uses submitted information to respond to customer-care requests, discuss vehicle concerns, schedule or confirm appointments, provide reminders and service or towing updates, prevent spam or misuse, maintain ordinary business records, and understand how customers found the website.

Text messaging privacy

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except service providers that support delivery of the messaging program.

Service providers and required disclosures

Website hosting, customer-communication, analytics, security, and message-delivery providers may process information for Wrenches under their service arrangements. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect Wrenches, its customers, or the website. Wrenches does not sell personal information.

Website context, analytics, and cookies

The website and its providers may process the page URL, referring page, campaign parameters, IP address, browser or device information, approximate location, and request time. Analytics providers may use cookies or similar identifiers to measure visits and interactions. You can limit cookies through your browser settings.

First-party action events may include a general or urgent-towing phone click, email or directions click, a non-personal estimator service ID, or use of the local email helper. Wrenches does not intentionally send entered vehicle descriptions, symptoms, message bodies, names, phone numbers, or email addresses to GA4.

Estimator and email-helper entries

The estimator calculation and Contact-page email helper run in your browser. Entered vehicle, concern, and preferred-time text is not sent to Wrenches by those tools unless you choose to open and send the prepared email. The site does not save that entered text in cookies or browser storage.

Retention and security

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed to respond, provide service, maintain ordinary business records, resolve concerns, and meet legal or operational requirements. Wrenches and its providers use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
